Simple Microneedling Aftercare

What to Expect

Right away: Skin will look pink/red and feel warm or tight — like a sunburn.

First 1–2 days: Mild swelling, light redness sensitivity, and tightness are normal.

Days 3–4: Light flaking or peeling may happen as the skin renews, but not common with everyone.

By Day 5–7: Skin feels smoother, firmer and toned. More even, sensitivity fades, and the skin Glows.

First 24 Hours
Do:
-
Keep skin clean and avoid touching your face.

Use only a simple hydrating serum (like hyaluronic acid).

Apply a gentle, hydrating moisturizer if skin feels dry or tight.
Avoid:
-
Makeup, SPF, sweating, workouts, hot showers, or steam.
-
Do not wash your face for 6-12 hours or the next morning.
Days 2–3
Do:
-
Cleanse gently with a mild, fragrance‑free cleanser.

Keep skin hydrated with simple serums and moisturizer, supplied to you after treatment only.

Use only a mineral sunscreen once redness calms, and you expose to the skin to the outside.
Avoid:
-
Retinoids, acids, scrubs, vitamin C, or any active products.

Direct sun exposure.

Days 3–7
Do:
-
Continue hydrating and moisturizing.

Expect light flaking — let it shed naturally.

Wear mineral SPF daily.
Avoid:
-
Picking or exfoliating peeling skin.

Returning to strong actives until skin feels normal again. Normally 4-7 days post care.

After 1 Week
-
Slowly reintroduce retinoids, vitamin C, and exfoliants.

Keep protecting your skin from the sun.

Call Your Provider If You Notice

Redness that gets worse after Day 3

Pustules or signs of infection

Severe swelling or pain.
